I received an email the other day asking permission to use my shot of the Golden Eagle I took at Tracy Aviary a few weeks ago on a blog about Salt Lake City on about.com.
Last year one of my favorite experiences with photography was shooting India Fest at the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Utah. This was actually the night I realized I needed the 70-200 f/2.8L IS to get the shots I wanted because the 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS wasn't nearly fast enough. Most of the shots I actually got to turn out last year were taken as I was sitting right in front of the stage with my 50 mm f/1.8. You can find last year's photos here:
